Panoche, CA

Welcome back....

This time the travel was not-so-fun! I guess you got to have a failed attempt on your way while exploring. I would not say I was totally disappointed but I had expected something better. I decided to make the 80 mile trip to Panoche after looking at a photo from my friend's album in a social networking site. The photo looked just amazing and it tempted me to make the trip. I started with full energy... After making some stops in between for gas, water and a quick snack, I drove enthusiastically towards my destination. I would not complain about the drive since I was driving through peaceful, calm towns. The weather was not very sunny but it was dry. The photo kept me going and I was just miles away from Panoche. I was just waiting to see the same scene that I had pictured in my mind. But.... I didn't.... I kept driving for few more miles but still I wasn't there. After few more miles, I understood that this has become the failed attempt... I could not see the scene I was looking for in the vast landscape.

However, as the famous saying goes, it's not the destination that matters; it's the journey that does...
